Product Details

Book 66: Livvie's Song
by Sharlene MacLarin

Life isn't easy for Olivia Beckman.  She is trying to hold it all together, but everything that could go wrong seems to keep happening.  She's the owner of a restaurant that was her husbands dream before he was killed and now the cook is leaving town. Unsure of what to do about the bills that are piling up and her two young boys she begins to doubt the future. Will is a stranger in their town, but he suddenly seems to be the answer to all Livvie's needs.  What she can't decide is whether or not she should trust him.  He appears to be a solid Christian man, but looks can be deceiving and when his past catches up to him she is sure that all is truly not how it seems.
Will he turn out to be the answer or just more problems.  This story will keep you wondering right up to the very end.

I would give this book 4 stars.

Book 67: Hidden Falls
Knotted Roots Novella
by Ruthi Kight
All Katy wants to do is help out her friend.  She is looking for nothing in return.  She knows it's going to be a tough job to run the farm and take care of things while Roxie is busy handling her parents.  Katy is tough though and knows she can succeed. What she isn't counting on is Brian being a part of the scene.  Brian who thinks her life is perfect.  How little he knows.  How much he doesn't understand. What he begins to see the truth of her life and the mess it has really been will he run away or chose to stay and help her through the pain.
While the story was really good the ending was more than a cliff hanger. It just stopped.  I was sure I was missing pages until I read other reviews and found others feeling the same way.  I guess that's one way to make sure other books in the series are read, but I was a bit disappointed.

I'd give this book 3 stars based on the poor ending.

Book 68: Come Fly with Me
by Judith Whitmore
Product DetailsKate Randolph is a young and wealthy woman due to her marriage.  She however is not happy. She wonders if she is just the trophy wife.  She sinks herself into her passions of running a shelter for latch key children and learning to fly.  Her latest desire is to learn to fly her husbands new Lear jet.  In flying she finally feels released from the confines of her unhappy marriage.
Rick Sanders has been flying her husband around and discovers a secret.  One he isn't free to share in his profession, but one that is now tearing him apart as he has just recently been asked to teach Kate to fly the Lear. In the process of teaching her he begins to wonder if maybe she is the one who he is suppose to be learning from.  Both want new lives, but can they afford to find them together. He doesn't want to be the reason she finally leaves her husband, but he doesn't know how he can stay away from her either.
Just when you are sure you have it all figured out the plot changes and a new element changes the course the characters seemed to be set on.
This fun romance earns 4 stars on my personal star ratings.
